4. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
⚠️ Important Disclaimers
Please read this section carefully as it limits our liability and sets expectations for the Service.
4.1 "As Is" Service
BlurShot is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
 - Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
 - Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the Service

4.2 Security Limitations
Important Notice: While blur and pixelation provide visual privacy, advanced forensic techniques may potentially recover some information from blurred or pixelated content. For highly sensitive information, we recommend using the redaction tool (solid color boxes) which permanently covers content.
You acknowledge that:
- No privacy protection method is 100% foolproof
 - You are responsible for choosing the appropriate level of protection for your content
 - BlurShot makes no guarantees about the irreversibility of blur or pixelation effects

4.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLURSHOT AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
 - Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
 - Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
 - Damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service
 - Damages resulting from inadequate privacy protection of edited images
 - Damages resulting from third-party actions or services

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Service Ownership
BlurShot and all associated intellectual property rights (including but not limited to trademarks, logos, design, code, and content) are owned by BlurShot or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use the BlurShot name, trademarks, or branding.
5.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to the images you process using BlurShot. We do not claim ownership of your images, and we do not store or have access to them (all processing is client-side).
5.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without compensation or attribution.
6. Privacy
Your use of BlurShot is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Quick Summary: We never see your images. All processing happens in your browser. We collect only anonymized analytics to improve the Service. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
7. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, update, or change the features, functionality, or appearance of BlurShot at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
7.3 Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by posting a prominent notice on the Service or by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to BlurShot immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Since no account is required, simply closing the browser tab ends your session.

9.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where BlurShot operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service should be first directed to us via email at legal@blurshot.io for informal resolution. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

10.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BlurShot regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
10.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
